One of Louisville's Oldest Blues Bars

In the early 1990’s the concept of Stevie Ray’s was born by two visionary Louisville businessmen, Fred Wooten and Michael Pollard.  The building was originally constructed in 1906 and with the interior brick walls, was the perfect fit to exude the feel of an old time blues club.

MUSIC

A varying range of Blues! Rock! Funk! Motown! Jazz! The music is varied across the week and caters for all tastes, with a soul of Blues and Rock. Top quality musicians are a guarantee – no band is allowed on stage before they’ve been medically certified as awesome!

Three jam nights also provide a chance for visiting musicians and local bands to hone their skills, while hanging out and have fun with the crowd.

If you’re hungry you don’t have to leave your seat. We have access to the best local restaurants in town, so you can dine while you take in the music.

Environment

Stevie Ray’s has a large stage and dance floor, perfect for you however you dance! and great for friends to let off steam! The bar provides a good capacity of seating when your feet can’t dance anymore. We’ve also got plenty of space in the Voodoo garden to chill out and cool off…or enjoy those warm summer nights.

Drinks

Stevie Ray’s prides itself on excellent service. You will find the warmest welcome that Kentucky can offer, attentive servers, and the very best drinks in town. A wide variety of beers and liquors are available but you haven’t tasted Stevie Ray’s until you try our specialty cocktails. We challenge you to find better drinks anywhere!
